These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Grpevyne ("Grpevyne," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Grpevyne mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Grpevyne provides cloud-based booking and business management software for service professionals. Service professionals may subscribe to paid tiers (such as Grpevyne Pro) to unlock premium features, including advanced booking tools, service packages, team management, and portfolio showcase. Customers may also use the platform to discover professionals, request estimates, and book appointments, but Grpevyne's primary paid offering is subscription software for professionals—not payment processing for jobs booked between customers and professionals.
Grpevyne is currently operated by Samuel Barton from Jamaica. Formal business registration is in progress. Until registration is completed, references in these Terms to Grpevyne as operator refer to the platform as operated by Samuel Barton.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy (for paid subscriptions). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1.1 These Terms apply to all users of the Services, including customers and service professionals (each, a "User" and collectively, "Users").
1.2 We may provide additional guidelines, policies, or feature-specific rules within the app. Those materials are incorporated into these Terms by reference where applicable.
1.3 These Terms are written in English. The English version controls in the event of any conflict with a translated version.
1.4 At launch, the Services are offered to Users located in Jamaica only. We may expand availability to additional jurisdictions in the future and may update these Terms accordingly.
For questions about these Terms, legal notices, or arbitration-related communications:
For general product support, you may also contact support@grpevyne.com.
Formal legal notices to Grpevyne should be sent to the email address above with a clear subject line indicating "Legal Notice."
3.1 Minimum age. You may not use the Services unless you have reached the age of consent in the jurisdiction where you access the Services. At launch, because the Services are available in Jamaica only, you must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Services.
3.2 No use by minors. Minors may not use the Services, including through a parent or guardian's account, except where applicable law expressly permits and we have implemented a compliant process (which we have not at launch).
3.3 Capacity. By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that all registration information you provide is accurate and current.
3.4 Compliance. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional licensing requirements in Jamaica.
4.1 Grpevyne owns and operates a software platform that helps service professionals manage bookings, calendars, client communication, estimates, and business operations. The platform may also enable customers to discover, request, estimate, schedule, and communicate with independent service professionals.
4.2 Grpevyne is not a service provider. We do not perform beauty, repair, home, vehicle, or other on-site or in-person services booked through the platform. Service professionals are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or partners of Grpevyne.
4.3 No guarantee of quality. Grpevyne does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, suitability, timeliness, or outcome of any professional's work, estimates, pricing, or conduct. Professionals carry out their business on their own terms, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
4.4 No employment relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, franchise, or agency relationship between Grpevyne and any service professional.
4.5 Platform ownership. Grpevyne owns the platform, software, branding, and underlying technology. Professionals and customers receive a limited license to use the Services as described in these Terms.
4.6 No job payment processing. Grpevyne does not collect or process customer payments for services performed by professionals. Payment for booked services is arranged directly between the customer and the professional unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.
5.1 The Services may support, among other categories, beauty services, repair services, home services, and vehicle-related services, as well as additional categories we may add from time to time.
5.2 You may not use the Services to request, offer, promote, or facilitate:
5.3 We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or report activity to authorities where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.
6.1 Account creation. To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You must keep your credentials secure and are responsible for all activity under your account.
6.2 Dual roles. A single User may hold both a customer role and a service professional role, subject to applicable verification and subscription requirements.
6.3 Accurate identity. You may not impersonate another person or business. Accounts found to be impersonating another person or business may be permanently deleted without refund.
6.4 Verification. We may request information to verify identity, eligibility, or compliance. Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination.
6.5 Account deletion. You may request deletion of your account as described in our Account Deletion page. Data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
This Section applies when you use the Services as a customer.
7.1 Service requests and bookings. You may submit service requests, damage reports, photos, estimates, messages, and booking details through the platform. You agree to provide accurate information and to communicate in good faith with professionals.
7.2 Vehicle damage reports and photos. Reports, images, and related information you submit are provided solely to advise the relevant service professional in connection with your request. Submission of such content does not imply insurance adjustment, legal advice, warranty analysis, or any purpose beyond facilitating your service request on the platform.
7.3 Estimates and pricing. Estimates, quotes, and booking prices displayed in the app are provided by service professionals or generated through platform workflows. Grpevyne does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or finality of any estimate or quoted price.
7.4 Variable or updated pricing. Service professionals are expected to communicate material changes in price as work progresses. Where a final price is submitted, you should review it carefully before accepting and arranging payment with the professional.
7.5 Professional store policies. Each service professional may publish store or booking policies, including whether a booking fee applies and whether booking fees are refundable upon cancellation or completion. You should review those policies before confirming a booking. If a professional's policy conflicts with applicable law, applicable law controls.
7.6 Job authorization PIN. For certain workflows, a PIN or similar authorization mechanism may be used to confirm job start or completion. You must safeguard such codes and only share them when you intend to authorize the relevant action. Professionals must not start or complete jobs without appropriate customer authorization under the applicable workflow.
7.7 Payments to professionals. Grpevyne does not collect customer payments on behalf of service professionals. Payment for services is arranged directly between you and the professional, including through off-platform methods if agreed between you. You are solely responsible for verifying payment terms, receipts, and completion before paying.
7.8 Disputes with professionals. Grpevyne is not a party to your service contract with a professional. You should first attempt to resolve disputes directly with the professional before contacting support. See Section 18.
7.9 On-site risks. Services may occur at your location or another agreed location. You acknowledge that on-site work carries inherent risks, and that responsibility for workmanship, safety, and property issues lies primarily between you and the professional.
7.10 Customer Reliability Status. Grpevyne may calculate and display a reliability tier based on your booking history, including missed appointments and cancellations you initiate. See Section 10A for full details, including how professionals may view your status and how Bronze-tier customers may be filtered from some professional feeds when those professionals opt in.
This Section applies when you register or operate as a service professional.
8.1 Independent business. You operate as an independent business user of the platform. You are solely responsible for your services, pricing, taxes, licensing, insurance, customer communications, and legal compliance.
8.2 Eligibility requirements. By registering as a professional, you represent and warrant that:
8.3 Verification and inspection. Grpevyne may review submitted credentials and background-check materials and may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke professional access in our discretion. Verification by Grpevyne does not constitute endorsement of your skills or legal compliance.
8.4 Store and booking policies. You may configure store policies, including whether you charge a booking fee and whether booking fees are refundable upon cancellation or completion. Your policies must comply with applicable law.
8.5 Pricing communication. You must communicate material price changes to customers as jobs progress. Final prices should be presented clearly so customers can accept and arrange payment on informed terms.
8.6 Payment collection. You are responsible for collecting all payments for your services. Grpevyne does not process booking payments on your behalf. Off-platform payment methods are permitted if agreed with the customer, provided you comply with these Terms and applicable law.
8.7 Taxes and reporting. You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable taxes, duties, levies, and regulatory fees related to your services and business activity.
8.8 Staff and sub-accounts. Depending on your subscription tier, you may add staff or sub-users to your professional account. You are liable for all actions taken under your professional account, including actions by your employees, staff, or authorized sub-users.
8.9 Client invitations. You may send invitation links to clients so they can manage appointments in Grpevyne. You represent that each recipient has consented to receive the invitation and that you have an existing or recent legitimate service relationship with the recipient. Grpevyne is not responsible for unsolicited or non-compliant outreach sent through invitation features.
8.10 Customer Reliability Status. When evaluating service requests or bookings, you may see a customer's reliability tier and related summary information. You may optionally hide job requests from customers with a Bronze reliability tier from your feed. You remain solely responsible for your acceptance, pricing, scheduling, and service decisions. See Section 10A.
9A.1 Service professionals may purchase optional subscription plans through Google Play Billing (managed via RevenueCat), website checkout, or other billing channels we make available, to access premium platform features. Apple App Store subscriptions are planned but not yet available; availability may vary by platform and region.
9A.2 Subscription tiers, billing intervals, and feature limits (including staff accounts, service packages, and showcase images) are described in the app, on our pricing page, and at the point of purchase.
9A.3 Free trial. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial on subscription tiers where offered. The trial applies across tiers as configured at purchase. After the trial, the subscription renews at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current billing period ends.
9A.4 Pricing. Subscription prices are shown at purchase and may be denominated in USD or localized equivalents. Taxes, if any, are handled according to the applicable billing channel's rules.
9A.5 Renewals, cancellation, and refunds. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the platform where you subscribed. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. For purchases we control directly, refund requests must be received within 48 hours of the charge; after that window, subscription fees are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Purchases through Google Play or the Apple App Store are also subject to those stores' refund processes.
9A.6 One account per subscription. A store subscription is tied to the Grpevyne account used to purchase or restore it. Subscriptions may not be transferred to another Grpevyne account except as permitted by platform rules and applicable store policies.
9A.7 Lapse or cancellation. If your subscription ends or lapses, premium limits may downgrade automatically, including masking or restricting visibility of service packages beyond your new tier limit; setting excess staff accounts to inactive; and applying other tier-based limits described in the app.
9A.8 No payment processing role. Professional subscriptions are distinct from customer service payments. Subscription fees pay for access to Grpevyne software features—not for processing customer job payments on your behalf.
9B.1 In addition to any subscription fees, the Platform Fee applicable to service professionals on completed jobs recorded on the platform during the applicable monthly billing period is 0%. As of the policy update effective 2026-07-20, Grpevyne does not charge or collect a percentage-based platform fee on completed jobs. Our monetization model for professionals is subscription-based only.
9B.2 The Platform Fee is not charged to customers. While the Platform Fee rate is 0%, no invoice, payment request, or collection action applies to job-based platform fees.
9B.3 We may update the Platform Fee percentage or billing mechanics with notice as described in Section 23. If we introduce a Platform Fee above 0% in the future, we will provide advance notice and update these Terms before such fees apply. Material changes will not apply retroactively to completed periods already recorded under a prior rate.
10.1 Bookings, estimates, chat, status updates, and related workflow features are provided to facilitate coordination between customers and professionals.
10.2 Either party may cancel a booking according to the applicable workflow, professional store policy, and applicable law.
10.3 If you no longer wish to receive notifications relating to a service request or booking, you may cancel the underlying service request or booking where the app provides that option, in addition to managing device notification settings.
10.4 Grpevyne may cancel bookings, restrict accounts, or take other remedial action where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, safety risk, or a violation of these Terms.
10A.1 Purpose. Grpevyne may display a Customer Reliability Status (also called a reliability tier or badge) to help service professionals assess scheduling risk. This feature is informational only and does not guarantee future customer behavior, professional acceptance of a job, or booking outcomes.
10A.2 How status is calculated. For customers with sufficient booking history on the platform, we may compute a reliability score using confirmed bookings, including:
External or walk-in bookings recorded outside the standard customer workflow may be excluded from this calculation. Cancellations initiated by a service professional do not count against the customer.
10A.3 Tiers. Where enough eligible booking history exists, a customer may be shown one of the following reliability tiers, which may appear as a colored ring around the customer's profile photo:
Tier thresholds, grace periods, and calculation rules may change from time to time as described in Section 23. Current tier labels and explanatory information may be shown in the app.
10A.4 Customer visibility and obligations. If you use the Services as a customer, your reliability status, related statistics, and guidance on how to improve your status may be shown to you in the app (for example, in Settings or your profile). You agree to honor confirmed bookings in good faith; use in-app workflow steps such as On My Way when you are the traveling party; cancel as early as reasonably possible when you cannot attend; and complete bookings through the platform workflow where applicable. Reliability status is not a punishment mechanism by itself, but it reflects your platform booking conduct and may influence how professionals choose to interact with you.
10A.5 Professional visibility and choices. Service professionals may see a customer's reliability tier and summary information on service requests, booking screens, and customer profile previews. This information is provided to help professionals make independent business decisions.
10A.6 Optional filtering by professionals. Service professionals may enable an optional setting to hide job requests from customers with a Bronze reliability tier from their service-request feed. Enabling this setting is the professional's choice. Grpevyne does not guarantee that any professional will accept, decline, or prioritize any customer request, with or without a reliability tier displayed.
10A.7 No entitlement to acceptance. A Gold, Silver, New, or other reliability status does not guarantee that any professional will accept your service request, respond to your message, or complete a booking. Professionals remain independent and may accept or decline work in their discretion, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
10A.8 Not professional subscriptions. Customer Reliability Status is separate from Grpevyne Pro or other service professional subscription tiers. Subscription tiers apply to professional platform features and limits; customer reliability tiers apply to customer booking conduct only.
10A.9 Accuracy and review. We strive to calculate reliability status accurately from platform booking records, but automated calculations may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect in edge cases. If you believe your status is materially wrong, contact us using the details in Section 2. We may review booking records and adjust displayed information where appropriate, but we do not guarantee manual recalculation on demand.
11.1 User content. The Services allow you to submit content, including profile information, photos, messages, reviews, damage reports, and other materials ("User Content").
11.2 Ownership and license. As between you and Grpevyne, Grpevyne owns all User Content uploaded to or generated through the platform, including metadata and workflow records, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You grant Grpevyne a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, analyze, and otherwise use User Content to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Services, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
11.3 Reviews. Reviews submitted through the platform are permanent and may not be edited or removed by the reviewer or reviewee after submission, except where removal is required by law or necessary to address unlawful content, personal data obligations, or platform integrity concerns.
11.4 Prohibited content. You may not submit content that is false, defamatory, infringing, harassing, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
11.5 Monitoring. We may review User Content for compliance, safety, and support purposes but are not obligated to monitor all content.
12.1 Some features may use automated or AI-assisted processing, such as summarizing booking-related chat context or extracting booking details.
12.2 AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. They are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, insurance, or safety advice.
12.3 You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-assisted outputs before relying on them. Grpevyne does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated summaries or suggestions.
12.4 We do not use AI-assisted processing to make solely automated legal or similarly significant decisions about you without appropriate safeguards where required by law.
13.1 You agree to use the Services lawfully and in good faith.
13.2 Impersonation. Accounts that impersonate another person or business may be permanently deleted.
13.3 Three-strike enforcement. For most other policy violations—including fake reviews, excessive cancellations, repeated missed appointments, abuse of reporting tools, or similar breaches—we may apply a three-strike enforcement model:
Strikes may be issued for related or continuing misconduct. We may skip strikes and take immediate action for severe violations, impersonation, illegal activity, or safety threats.
13.4 Bans and refunds. Users found to be in breach of these Terms may be suspended or banned without refund of subscription fees or other amounts, except where applicable store policy or law requires otherwise.
13.5 Reporting abuse. Abuse, safety concerns, or policy violations should be reported through the in-app report flow or by contacting us using the details in Section 2.
13.6 We may investigate reported conduct and take action including content removal, booking cancellation, account suspension, permanent termination, and referral to authorities.
14.1 Transactional communications. We and professionals may send transactional messages related to account activity, estimates, bookings, reminders, and service workflow events. You may stop notifications relating to a specific service request or booking by canceling that request or booking where available.
14.2 Marketing. By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related and promotional communications from Grpevyne through in-app messages, email, push notifications, or SMS where enabled, unless you opt out where an opt-out is provided or required by law.
14.3 Professional outreach. Professionals are independently responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent before contacting clients, including through invitation links or external messaging.
15.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data.
15.2 If your account is closed or you are banned, we may retain information as described in the Privacy Policy, including financial, transactional, audit, and compliance records for legally required periods.
15.3 We may create aggregated or de-identified data that does not reasonably identify you and use it for analytics, reporting, reliability scoring, marketplace safety, and product improvement.
15.4 Reliability data. Customer Reliability Status and related booking metrics may be stored on your account profile and shown to you and, where applicable, to service professionals as described in Section 10A.
16.1 The Services, including software, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Grpevyne, are owned by Grpevyne or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
16.2 Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.
16.3 You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
17.1 As-is services. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
17.2 No warranties. GRPEVYNE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
17.3 No guarantee of outcomes. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY PROFESSIONAL WILL COMPLETE WORK TO YOUR SATISFACTION.
17.4 Third-party services. Third-party app stores, payment providers, hosting providers, and professional services are governed by their own terms. Grpevyne is not responsible for third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
18.1 No platform involvement. Grpevyne is not a party to agreements between customers and professionals and is not obligated to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between Users regarding service quality, payment, cancellations, injury, property damage, or similar matters.
18.2 Direct resolution first. Users agree to attempt to resolve disputes directly with each other before requesting Grpevyne intervention, except where required by law or necessary to report safety, fraud, or illegal activity.
18.3 Platform actions. Notwithstanding Section 18.1, Grpevyne may investigate reports of Terms violations and may suspend accounts, cancel bookings, restrict features, or permanently ban Users where we reasonably determine such action is necessary to protect the platform, Users, or the public.
19.1 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRPEVYNE AND ITS OPERATOR, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.
19.2 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRPEVYNE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO GRPEVYNE DIRECTLY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US $100).
19.3 Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grpevyne and its operator, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and these Terms.
21.1 Informal resolution. Before initiating arbitration or court proceedings, you agree to contact us at samuelbarton91@gmail.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
21.2 Binding arbitration. Except where prohibited by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized use or infringement of intellectual property or confidential information.
21.3 Arbitration procedure. Arbitration will be conducted in English before a single arbitrator under rules agreed by the parties or, if no agreement is reached, under the arbitration laws and institutions applicable in Jamaica. The seat of arbitration will be Kingston, Jamaica, unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different seat.
21.4 Class action waiver. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND GRPEVYNE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
21.5 Governing law. These Terms and any non-arbitrable disputes are governed by applicable laws, with primary reference to the laws of Jamaica for Users accessing the Services in Jamaica at launch, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction's laws.
21.6 Time limit. Any claim must be filed within the time required by applicable law or, if no shorter period applies, within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, fire, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, power outages, or failures of third-party hosting or app store systems.
23.1 We may update these Terms from time to time.
23.2 Material changes will be communicated through an in-app banner and/or by posting an updated version on our website with a revised effective date.
23.3 Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
24.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Grpevyne regarding the Services.
24.2 Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
24.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
24.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
24.5 Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
24.6 Third-party beneficiaries. Except as expressly stated, these Terms do not confer rights on any third party.
