Grpevyne ("we", "us", "our") operates a mobile and web software platform for service professionals to manage bookings, calendars, client communication, and business operations. Customers may also use the platform to discover professionals, request estimates, and book services. At launch, the Services are offered in Jamaica only. 3) What Information We Collect and How We Use It

A) If you browse our Services

We may collect technical and usage data automatically, such as device type, operating system, app/browser version, IP address, approximate location from IP, session activity, viewed pages/screens, clicks, errors, and diagnostics.

B) If you create an account

We may collect name, email, phone number, password/login credentials, profile details (for example, role and profile photo), and account settings.

C) If you submit vehicle damage reports or service requests

We may collect vehicle details, damage descriptions, uploaded photos, estimated budget/cost, and service location details to route requests to professionals and support estimates and bookings.

D) If you use estimates, chat, and booking features

We may collect estimate records, chat messages and shared media, booking details, and workflow timestamps to deliver marketplace functionality and notifications.

E) If AI-assisted features are used

Some features may use AI-assisted analysis (for example, summarizing booking-related chat context). Relevant service data may be processed through secured backend services. We do not use AI-assisted processing to make solely automated legal or similarly significant decisions about you without appropriate safeguards.

F) If you enable notifications

We may collect push notification tokens, notification preferences, and in-app notification events to send booking, estimate, and account alerts.

G) If you subscribe as a service professional

We may collect subscription tier, billing interval, trial status, and renewal metadata from Google Play (and, when available, the Apple App Store); RevenueCat identifiers and entitlement status; and booking completion records used for software features such as earnings tracking, scheduling history, and reliability scoring.

H) If you contact support

We may collect your contact details, communication content, and related account or transaction context needed to resolve your issue.

4) Legal Reasons We Process Personal Data

5) Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell personal information in the traditional data-broker sense.

5A) Professional Client Invitations

Service professionals can send invitation links so clients can manage appointments in Grpevyne. Professionals should only send invitations to clients who would reasonably expect communication from them because of an existing or recent service relationship.

6) Where Your Information Is Stored

Your information may be stored and processed in jurisdictions other than Jamaica, including countries where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required, we apply appropriate transfer safeguards.

7) How We Protect Your Information

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest; role-based access controls; logging and monitoring; and security reviews for production systems.

8) Payments and Subscriptions

Customer service payments. Grpevyne does not process payments for services booked between customers and professionals. Payment for services is arranged directly between the customer and the professional, including through off-platform methods if they agree. We do not collect or store customer card details for booked services.

Professional subscriptions. Service professionals may purchase optional subscriptions through Google Play Billing (managed via RevenueCat), website checkout, or other channels we make available. Apple App Store billing is planned for a future release. Subscription purchase, renewal, trial, and refund handling are governed by our Refund Policy and the applicable billing channel's terms.

No platform commission. Grpevyne does not charge service professionals a commission or percentage fee on completed jobs. We do not use booking completion records to calculate job-based platform fees.

Taxes. Professionals are responsible for their own tax reporting. Grpevyne does not provide tax advice.

9) External Sites and Third-Party Links

Our Services may include links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

10) How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, and security obligations.

Tax and financial records (Jamaica): Under applicable local law, we may need to keep financial and transactional records for at least six (6) years. Where your account is closed or you ask us to delete your data, we will remove active account access and non-essential personal details from operational systems, but we may retain minimized copies of financial and transactional information for mandatory retention periods.

11) Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may create aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you and use it for analytics, reporting, service reliability, and product improvement.

12) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of your data, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us using the details in this Policy. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

13) Children and Minimum Age

Our Services are not directed to individuals below the age of consent in the jurisdiction where they access the Services. At launch in Jamaica, you must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors below the applicable age of consent.

14) Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and web app may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, support core functionality and security, and understand usage patterns. You can control certain cookie preferences through browser settings.

15) Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in-app (including via in-app banner where appropriate) and/or on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice and may require you to re-accept the updated Policy before continuing to use the Services.
